With the Getein 1100 analyzer, 30 different assays can be tested simultaneously with responses within 3-15 minutes. The immunofluorescence assay method provides safe sample responses for the most important assays directly on-site, resulting in faster patient treatment, and shorter waiting times. The new technology also saves significant costs compared to traditional point-of-care analyzes.
Getein 1100 and COVID-19
Getein 1100 provides the ability to conduct safe analyses both with antigen tests for SARS-COV2 to detect ongoing infection, as well as quantitative analyzes of antibodies and neutralizing antibodies. It is possible to use a simple blood sample to quickly determine the number of neutralizing antibodies against SARS-COV2 in the patient.
A combination test has also been developed where antigen tests for SARS-COV2/influenza A/B have been combined to distinguish whether a patient has a COVID-19 infection or influenza.
