Our locally produced FFP2 respirators are constructed with a total of five layers: two layers of which are filtering layers to protect against airborne contaminants and particles. The two elastic headbands ensure a tight fit and makes it comfortable to wear. They also reduce the risk of skin irritation and the formation of eczema behind the ears, which can be a problem with prolonged use of masks that loop behind the ears.
Our respirators are CE-marked and tested in a laboratory according to personal protective equipment regulations. Our focus has been on developing a line of high quality respiratory protective equipment with low breathing resistance and low CO2 content in the intake air. This allows the user to work for long periods of time comfortably and safely. Laboratory tests have shown that our respirators have a filtration capacity of over 98 percent while having a low respiratory resistance and low CO2 content.
The respirators are intended for single use and should be worn for a maximum of 8 hours.
Our valved respirators have the same characteristics as those without a valve. The function of the valve is to reduce the resistance at expiration which makes the mask easier to breathe through.
It is important to remember that valve respirators do not filter the exhalation air, only the intake air is filtered.
